Frequently asked questions.
Does Flip integrate with Metrc?
Flip is not a Metrc integration and doesn't connect to Metrc's API. Your compliance officer exports what they need from Flip as a CSV and enters it into Metrc on their schedule — not yours. That's intentional. Flip is built for the grower's day, not the compliance workflow.
Is this a seed-to-sale tracking system?
No. Flip tracks your cultivation operations — rooms, plants, cycles, harvests. It's an operational tool, not a compliance platform. If your state requires a seed-to-sale system, that's a separate system. Flip gives your team a place to manage the actual work.
How long does setup take?
You add your rooms, set your stages, and you're running. Most facilities are set up in a single sitting. If you're mid-cycle, you can start from where you are — you don't need to wait for a clean flip to begin.
Can multiple people use it at the same time?
Yes. Your head grower, assistant growers, and owner can all be logged in simultaneously. Changes sync in real time. The action log tracks who did what.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is yours. You can export everything as CSV at any time. If you cancel, I'll hold your data for 30 days so you can grab a final export before it's deleted.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on the size of your operation. Email me and I'll walk through it with you.
Can I try it before committing?
Yes — the live demo at app.flipgrow.app/demo is the real app seeded with real cultivation data. Click around. If you want to see it with your rooms and your strains, email me for a walkthrough.
Who built this?
Max Jackson. I ran Wildcreek Farms in Trinity County, California — 13,000 square feet of flowering canopy, six rooms running perpetual harvest cycles, 2019 to 2022. I tracked all of it on whiteboards, spreadsheets, and a countdown app on my phone. Every cultivation software I used was designed for compliance officers, not growers. I also run Cannabis Wise Guys, a cannabis operations consultancy focused on cultivation economics, market structure, and policy. Flip is what I wished I had in the room.
Run the room.
Most teams are set up in a single sitting. The whiteboard comes down the same week.
